BORONID® BORON NITRIDE (BN) FILLER IN HEATING CARTRIDGES AND HEATING ELEMENTS
As a basic requirement, heating cartridges and heating elements are expected to provide high energy yields, efficient heat transfer and long service lives, even at high temperatures. It is therefore essential to choose the right electrically insulating filling material. Although conventional materials such as aluminum or magnesium oxide possess high electrical insulation capacity, they have poor thermal conductivity. Boron nitride, on the other hand, with its unique combination of high insulation capacity and high thermal conductivity, is ideal in meeting these requirements.
