The TÜV-certified plate heat exchangers of EKasic® silicon carbide withstand almost all acid and alkali mixtures, even at high process temperatures. The product chambers are separated by SiC ceramic heat-exchanger plates several millimeters thick. They not only ensure high operating pressures up to 16 bar, but also permit long-term stability even in the critical high-temperature range.
