Functionalization of surfaces has become firmly established in many applications and sectors for selective adjustment of properties that are critical to the application.
For coatings requiring non-sticking and/or lubricating properties and which are subject to high temperatures, ESK offers MYCRONID® suspensions, based on hexagonal boron nitride and a reactive sol-gel binder for a wide range of applications.
Applications and Properties
MYCRONID® from ESK is suitable for the permanent coating of metal, ceramic and vitreous surfaces and can be applied by spraying or dipping. The resulting boron nitride coatings are characterized by:
