EKasic® plate heat exchangers, with an SiC monolith as pressure-resistant vessel, as compact special designs, offer a means of processing liquids at high operating pressures over 50 bar. Even highly corrosive media can be circulated. In the tailored designs, the desired operating temperature is the deciding factor for the materials used for linings, gaskets and flanges.
High operating temperatures?
Gases can be processed at temperatures up to 400°C and pressures up to 16 bar. Higher temperatures require special fine tuning.
