CALCIUM HEXABORIDE (CaB6)
AS ANTIOXIDANT
In steel production, ESK ceramic antioxidants of calcium hexaboride permit longer service lives, preferably for unfired MgO-C bricks.
AS DEOXIDANT
Calcium hexaboride is the only material that does not reduce the electrical conductivity of copper, and is therefore ideal as powder for desoxidizing copper melts.
AS WEAR PROTECTION
Special calcium hexaboride additives from ESK provide permanent, reliable wear protection for technical equipment and machinery.
