PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS OF EKasic® SILICON CARBIDE (SiC)
In EKasic® plate heat exchangers, ESK offers a compact and high-performance silicon carbide (SiC) solution for apparatus operating under corrosive conditions. The plates are either joined by ceramic welding or gasketed with PTFE against each other. The B500 and B260 units are equipped with standard flanges:
- Suitable for a working pressure up to 16 bar
- Universally corrosion resistant
- Lightweight and robust in operation
Until October 2008 the Pfaudler Werke GmbH in Schwetzingen (Germany) is handling the global sales of these innovative, ceramic heat exchangers for industrial applications.
