EKamold® BORON NITRIDE SPRAYS AND SUSPENSIONS AS RELEASE AGENTS AND LUBRICANTS IN THE GLASS INDUSTRY
Glass forming typically poses challenges such as difficult separation of the part from the mould and defective part surfaces. It is therefore vital to use a suitable release agent – often in the form of a powder. One disadvantage of this is that the release agent is not uniformly applied, and undesirable inhomogeneities on the glass surface can occur.
Applications and Properties
These disadvantages can be avoided with EKamold® boron nitride sprays and suspensions from ESK. These coating systems are effective release agents and/or lubricants. They are ready to use, easy to apply and therefore economical to use.
